1 Corinthians 4:1-5 MWT[With God's Divine Name restored.] (1) You should think of us as Christ's servants, who have been put in charge of the Sacred Secrets of . (2) The one thing required of such servants is that they be faithful to their master. (Mat 23:8 of 1‑15) (3) Now, it is a trivial matter to be judged by YOU, or by any human tribunal; I don't even pass judgment on myself. (4) My conscience is clear, but that does not prove that I am really innocent. The Lord is the one who passes judgment on me. (John 12:48) (5) So you should not pass judgment on anyone before the right time comes. Final judgment must wait until the Lord comes; he will bring to light the secret things of darkness and expose the hidden purposes of people's minds and hearts. And then, each one will have his praise come to him from the True God. [1 Cor 15:20-28]
Those who translated the following first two quoted Bible translations (the NWT by Jehovah's Witnesses and the Miles Coverdale translation of 1535 CE) attempted to restore God's personal name to 1 Corinthians 4, where Paul, (having been raised in the Jewish faith and being) a Hebrew speaking converted Jewish follower of Christ, would surely have used it. The translators believed God's personal name would have been in the original text of these verses. Why did they think that? Because יהוה had his Name used over 6000 times in the original Old Testament Hebrew text. Even though these first two and the following different translators interchangeably used "Jehovah" and "LORDE," as they tried to figure out how to represent 's Hebrew name, our point is, they did recognize the Divine Name should be in their translation. The Divine Name of our Creator is restored above in the Modern World Translation (MWT) while the fourth translation (CEV below) used only the title "God" to represent our Creator. While many men have allowed themselves to be confused, this is not complicated. (Pro 30:4) Our purpose giving value is simply to worship יהוה God through our faith in his son Christ Jesus. [Acts 4:8-12; Acts 16:30-31; Heb 4:14-5:10] We address our Grand Creator as , which sounds to English speakers like Yea•Vah. (That is "Yea" as in Yea-Go-Team, followed by "Vah" like the first two letters of Vault.)
1 Corinthians 4:1-5 NWT
4 Let a man so appraise us as being subordinates of Christ and stewards of Sacred Secrets of God. 2 Besides, in this case, what is looked for in stewards is for a man to be found faithful. (Mat 23:8 of 1‑15) 3 Now to me it is a very trivial matter that I should be examined by you or by a human tribunal. Even I do not examine myself. 4 For I am not conscious of anything against myself. Yet by this I am not proved righteous, but he that examines me is Jehovah []. 5 Hence do not judge anything before the due time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring the secret things of darkness to light and make the counsels of the hearts manifest, and then each one will have his praise come to him from God []. [1 Cor 15:20-28]1 Corinthians 4:1-5 - 1535 Coverdale
(1) Let euery man this wyse esteme vs, euen for the mynisters of Christ, and stewardes of the secretes of God [].
(2) Now is there no more requyred of the stewardes, then, that they be founde faithfull. (Mat 23:8 of 1‑15)
(3) It is but a small thinge vnto me, that I shulde be iudged of you, or of mans daye, nether iudge I myne awne selfe.
(4) I knowe noughte by my selfe, yet am I not therby iustified. It is the LORDE that iudgeth me.
(5) Therfore iudge ye nothinge before ye tyme, vntyll the LORDE come, which shal brynge it to lighte that is hyd in darknesse, and ope the councels of ye hertes, and the shal euery one haue prayse of God [].[1 Cor 15:20-28]1 Corinthians 4:1-5 CEV
(1) Think of us as servants of Christ who have been given the work of explaining God's [ יהוה 's ] mysterious ways.
(2) And since our first duty is to be faithful to the one we work for, (Mat 23:8 of 1‑15)
(3) it doesn't matter to me if I am judged by you or even by a court of law. In fact, I don't judge myself.
(4) I don't know of anything against me, but that doesn't prove that I am right. The Lord is my judge.
(5) So don't judge anyone until the Lord returns. He will show what is hidden in the dark and what is in everyone's heart. Then God [] will be the one who praises each of us.[1 Cor 15:20-28]

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
ALT - Analytical Literal Translation
ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).
Darby - 1889 Darby Bible
DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible
BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English
LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible
KJV - King James Version
MKJV - Modern King James Version
NWT - New World Translation
