I believe this scripture has a greater fulfillment than in the temple David and Solomon built. It refers to the house Jesus built. The house Jesus built is Spiritual Israel. (Gal 6:16 of 12-16) So, what about you; do you know personal name so you can call on it like ancient Israel does, but calling out in Jesus name?

1 Kings 8:43 NWT . . .may you yourself listen from the heavens, your established place of dwelling, and you must do according to all that for which the foreigner calls to you; in order that all the peoples of the earth may get to know your name so as to fear you the same as your people Israel do, and so as to know that your name itself has been called upon this house that I have built.
1 Kings 8:43 BBE . . .Give ear in heaven your living-place, and give him his desire, whatever it may be; so that all the peoples of the earth may have knowledge of your name, worshipping you as do your people Israel, and that they may see that this house which I have put up is truly named by your name.
