Esther 2:21-23 GNB . . .During the time that Mordecai held office in the palace, Bigthana and Teresh, two of the palace eunuchs who guarded the entrance to the king's rooms, became hostile to King Xerxes and plotted to assassinate him. (22) Mordecai learned about it and told Queen Esther, who then told the king what Mordecai had found out. (23) There was an investigation, and it was discovered that the report was true, so both men were hanged on the gallows. The king ordered an account of this to be written down in the official records of the empire.
If you take time to read the short Bible Book of Esther, you will find "this incident" was the forward looking works by God to preserve alive Esther and all her people! What a wonder...
Esther 2:21-23 LITV . . .In those days, while Mordecai sat in the king's gate, two of the king's eunuchs, Bigthan and Teresh, of those who guarded the threshold, were angry, and sought to stretch out a hand against King Ahasuerus. (22) And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it to Esther the queen. And Esther told the king in the name of Mordecai. (23) And when the matter was searched into, it was found out; and the two of them were hanged on a tree. And it was written in the Book of the Matters of the Days before the king.

The matter was written up in the king's presence in his official record of daily events.

In turn Esther talked to the king in Mor´de·cai’s name. 23 So the matter was sought out and eventually found out, and both of them got to be hanged on a stake; after which it was written in the book of the affairs of the days before the king.
