••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••

Exodus 3:15 MWT . . .Then God said once more to Moses: “This is what you are to say to the sons of Israel, ‘יהוה, the God of YOUR forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has sent me to YOU.’ This is my name to time indefinite, and this is the memorial of me to generation after generation.

Exodus 3:15 ESV . . .God also said to Moses, "Say this to the people of Israel, (Gal 3:26-29) 'The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.

Exodus 3:15 GNB . . .Tell the Israelites (Gal 3:26-29) that I, the LORD  (יהוה), the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, have sent you to them. This is my name forever; this is what all future generations are to call me.

Exodus 3:15 BBE . . .And God went on to say to Moses, Say to the children of Israel, (Gal 3:26-29) The Lord  (יהוה), the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has sent me to you: this is my name for ever, and this is my sign to all generations.

Exodus 3:15 LITV . . .And God said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, (Gal 3:26-29) Jehovah  (יהוה), the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial from generation to generation.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
