Revelation 17:15-18 GW ...The angel also said to me, "The waters you saw, on which the prostitute is sitting, are people, crowds, nations, and languages. (16) The ten horns and the beast you saw will hate the prostitute. They will leave her abandoned and naked. They will eat her flesh and burn her up in a fire. (17) God has made them do what he wants them to do. So they will give their kingdom to the beast until God's words are carried out. (18) The woman you saw is the important city which dominates the kings of the earth."

The angel explain how this notorious woman [Notre Dame] is a composite of all false religion throughout the centuries; as she has corrupted and controlled the nations with her lies, often told in Christ's name. She and the nations she rides [controls] are now being destroyed by God. (Rev 17:1-18:10)

Revelation 17:16-18 ESV ...And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, (17) for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. (18) And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth."

Revelation 17:15-18 GNB ...The angel also said to me, "The waters you saw, on which the prostitute sits, are nations, peoples, races, and languages. (16) The ten horns you saw and the beast will hate the prostitute; they will take away everything she has and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and destroy her with fire. (17) For God has placed in their hearts the will to carry out his purpose by acting together and giving to the beast their power to rule until God's words come true. (18) "The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth."

Revelation 17:15-18 CEV ...The oceans that you saw the prostitute sitting on are crowds of people from all races and languages. (16) The ten horns and the beast will start hating the shameless woman. They will strip off her clothes and leave her naked. Then they will eat her flesh and throw the rest of her body into a fire. (17) God is the one who made these kings all think alike and decide to give their power to the beast. And they will do this until what God has said comes true. (18) The woman you saw is the great city that rules over all kings on earth.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
